“Careers for the Connected Generation” Conference

Aug 26, 2014

FEANI is supporting EIIL with the organization of the Conference on ‘Careers for the Connected Generation’ – on 11 September – in The Hague, Netherlands. We believe that this could be of interest to your members; particularly to HR Managers and Line Managers, who have front line roles in the “war for talent”.

This one day conference will be highly interactive. FEANI-members can get 50% discount on the registration fee if they mention ‘FEANI’ when they register (50€ instead of 100€, including lunch and a drinks reception).

Participants will be invited to contribute their opinions on questions such as:

1. How should industry recruit, develop and retain the best young talents when entry level jobs are increasingly automated, companies are increasingly fragmented and core-focussed and Generation C becomes more and more mobile?

2. Can a structured career path within a company still be offered to develop and retain the best talents, and is this really attractive?

3. How can Industry best validate and benchmark the professional skills and competencies of the increasingly mobile Generation C?

Coffee breaks, lunch and a final drinks reception will offer plenty of opportunities to network. We’re expecting around 70 targeted participants, with approximately 30% of these being technical students. Recruiting managers will get the chance to work alongside potential recruits in this highly interactive format.
